Dr. Noopur the founder of The Cancer Vet. After graduating in 2008, she completed her Masters in Veterinary Science in Surgery and Radiology in 2010. She moved to the US in 2011 to pursue a fellowship in Medical Oncology from Michigan State University. In 2014, she went to the University of Wisconsin, Madison for a residency in Radiation Oncology and achieved Diplomate status from ACVR (R. Oncology) in 2017. There are less than 100 boardcertified Veterinary Radiation Oncologists in the world, and she is one of them! She has also worked as an Assistant Professor in Oncology at the Ohio State University (OSU) College of Veterinary Medicine.

One of the main reasons she moved back to India was to bring home what she learned over the years since graduating and enhance cancer care for pets here. Her passion is treating patients, teaching a newer generation of veterinarians, and performing clinical research.
